Best reason not to blog that I've heard in a long time! Can't wait to see what you think.

AHAHAH! We all need to join some kind of Hunger Games Anonymous group while we wait for the sequel to come out ;).

You have to tell us how you like it when you're done!

Oooo, I keep meaning to read that book, but I am terrified.

I am terrified because I despise waiting for sequels. Everyone who knows me knows how the Percy Jackson series reduced me to a blubbering mess of fangirlishness in between Book 4 and 5. Do I really want to be that mess of blubbering again? But I've heard such good things about The Hunger Games! Decisions, decisions.

Icy Roses, blubbering mess? Believe me, you'll feel honor bound to endure like a trooper after you read the book. I didn't know it was the first in a series until the last page, so I was sort of thrilled and frustrated at the same time, but with great hope for things to come. I won't spoil the story, but it really renewed my faith in the ability that sci-fi dystopian has to mirror society and have a moral, yet not come across as overtly moralistic, if that makes sense. Maybe I've got a new blog topic...

Abby, two words.
You.
Rule.

I feel Icy's pain. I, too, despise the wait for sequels. Which is why I tend to hold off until at least two-thirds of the books in the series have been released before joining the bandwagon.

I have an impatience issue. Can't help it. I'm pretty sure my parents are to blame. :)
